A Message on COVID-19
For those that know us well, you know that COVID has been a traumatic and heartbreaking part of our lives. On February 25, 2021, I (My) lost my mom to COVID. There is nothing worse than losing the person you’re the closest to to something that is preventable. We have to live with that each day, and it’s for this reason that we take the spread of it very seriously.
We ask that you are fully vaccinated and boosted if you decide to come to the wedding in order to prevent the spread. While the ceremony will be outdoor, the reception will be indoor and we welcome you to wear masks if that makes you more comfortable. At the end of the day, we want to have a lot of fun and celebrate with you all, but getting sick is not worth it for a party. Please honor our mom and our loss by respecting our wishes on this.
If for some reason you cannot get vaccinated or boosted in time for this wedding, please do not come. We have older folks who will be at this party and we need to keep things safe for them. We understand if this is a no-go for some folks. We are happy to celebrate with you from afar in that case.
