Transportation
Airports
To get to the OC, we recommend flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) or Long Beach Airport (LGB). You are welcome to fly into Los Angeles International (LAX) but it will be a 40 minute drive.
Getting Around
Listen City Slickers, Orange County is not walkable. If you’re coming from out of town, we highly recommend you rent a car or prepare to Uber or Lyft. Ride share here is spotty at best (sometimes waits can be long). If you’re international and are worried about driving in the jungles of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, give us a call.
Lodging Recommendations
We know that many of you are coming from out of town! We have reserved a block of rooms at each of the hotels below. Simply click on the linked name of the hotels to take advantage of the discounted rates.
While the wedding is in Dana Point, we HIGHLY recommend staying in the Huntington Beach area. It is about 30 minutes from the wedding location, but it’s more central to all the fun food, scenes, and nightlife. Also, it’s close by so if you extend your stay you can always come say hi! Below are rooms where we have blocks if you’d like to use the discount.

Things to do in Orange County.
-
Disneyland
Rediscover your inner child and spend exorbitant amounts of money on churros and water bottles at the Disney Resort!
-
Beaches
The OC is home to some of the best beaches in the world. Huntington Beach is, like, 20 miles long. Highly recommend you bring a grill and do some Korean BBQ.
-
Food
Orange County is an incredibly diverse community with some of the best Asian (particularly Vietnamese) food around. We recommend also trying any of the Korean restaurants that is in our Little Korea area in Garden Grove.
-
Shopping
Shopping is kind of our thing down here. The Housewives of OC need a place to escape their husbands. We recommend South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island, or Irvine Spectrum for the fashion forward.
-
Night Life
There are some lounges and nightclubs like Mesa Lounge, and the Triangle in Costa Mesa if you’re into that sort of thing. They’re a little bit ratchet but they’ll do.
